Aligning the universal tool

I think I asked this before but can't find the answer. 

How do I realign the universal tool of a sword so that it follows the blade and relocate the center point to the hilt?

    You can change the axes used in the Tool Settings pane, to move the centre point however you need to use the Joint Editor tool.
