Cropped Tactical Vest

I am trying to build a Boba Fett character from Star Wars and am needing to find a tactical vest that is cropped (shorter and doesnt go beyond belly button). As you can see in the attached photo, it does isnt really much (the lighter colored clothing).  Any thoughts out there?  Ive tried a normal tactical vest I found, but it is full length and therefor didnt work.
