Ease of use? Versatility? Good renders? Quick? Comparables?

Thanks.

Here is a render out of the box.

    -Very fast.

-This set up was seriously just a double click portrait set-up. I believe that is the intended use. I didn't move or adjust anything besides the model.

-Versatile? Can't really answer that one. Haven't had time to dig in deeper.

There is suppose to be a commercial thread soon?
Hopefully the creator can answer some of your questions too.

Anyways, it is nice set in my humble opinion.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Thank you, Cake One!
    Feel free to link.
I hope to do some more soon. I will post them in the commercial thread.

It looks like the lights were taken off sale accidentally.
You might want to contact DAZ about that.
    :)

    Good luck!

Thank you so much for your feedback.
Daz has been contacted about it, as my full store is also off sale.
Luckily it will be fixed soon and everything will go mad again

Waiting for your new renders ;)
    Thanks again

I have gleam. Very nice. What do I do if I set up the character and the lights are nice and then add a set or background wall around the character? what do i do with the lights?

Hi and thank you for the nice words.

I don't have that set so i can't take a look in detail on how it's done but mainly you have 3 choices :

    - Change the back light position so that the wall behind your character don't hide it

    or

    - Make the wall to "not cast shadow"

    - You can also try the set just as it is as in real life, if there is a wall right behind a character, light won't come out of the wall itself...

if you loose the back light, you still have all the other lights in the same preset so you'll still get a mood.

In some preset, you may have a spotlight (check it's not hidden by your wall) and or a distant light (check again it's not hidden. If it is, just move it a bit until it's not hidden anymore).

Best way to move your light easily : change the camera view to the "light view" so you'll exactly see what the light will illuminate...

    I hope it helps :)
