Shoestring Shaders transitions to Digital Carvers Guild!

Hi All-

Shoestring Shaders is now supported by Digital Carvers Guild and may be downloaded and/or purchased there.

After many great years of Carrara fun, from Metacreations to DAZ 8.5, I find that I have moved on in my life- I no longer have the passion for 3D. Rather than let Shoestring Shaders drift into the sunset, I have passed the source code to Eric Winemiller at DCG. Only fair, as he helped me get started, and then again and again (and again) through the years whenever my meager coding skills bumped up against my lofty ambitions. ;-) It was a hard decision to step away, but being able to pass the plugin to a pillar of the community made it much easier.

I recommend you sign up for the DCG update mailing list in order to be kept abreast of the latest developments and bug fixes.... there is a new build there now that fixes a bump issue with some of the shaders- go and grab it. If you are not already a licensed user, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! Jump on over and support Eric!

    ...Support Eric and all of his DCG goodness! You'll not regret any action in that regard!

    Mark, sorry to hear that you've lost your 3d passion :(
    But I guess it's better to realize that, move on, and be happy, than to do anything else and be miserable.
    Anyways, Carrara and its community are always here for you when you get that spark of ambition poking the tush! ;)

    Thanks guys. My old website will be up for a while, if anyone wants to grab the other content that is there (shader samples, etc).
