Four arms for G8F?

So I want to make a Warhammer Keeper of Secrets kinda thing and got most parts of the character planned out...except for four arms.

I believe I saw something like this before, but I guess it was on G2 or 3, since I can't find it under Fantasy for G8 on the store, but maybe it was even something third party?

If nothing like that exists, any idea how to achieve that?

It was for Genesis and is no longer in the store. It was by a PA, etujedi, who's no longer a vendor here.

When I think of things like this, the two PAs that come to mind are @Rawart and @Sickleyield.

As for how to achieve it, look into geografting. I don't know the ins and outs of it myself, but you might be able to make something work by copying her existing arms in your modeling software of choice and creating the geograft using those.

A lot of the time, people will just use a 2nd copy of the figure and hide the non-relevant parts.

Thanks, yeah I thought it was something older.

Guess I have to look into geografting.

I've repeatedly poked at ideas to do this, and I HIGHLY suggest going the route of a mostly hidden second figure.

Geografting extra arms would be a huge amount of work and introduces problems a second figure would not have. There's a reason nobody's done it since Genesis. ;)

The big problems are that you'd have to rerig the new arms entirely over, and then try to keep it consistent with the original problems. Then every shape that gets dialed in, you'd have to replicate or at least try to smooth the transition to the new arms.

Adding to the morphs problem there's also the fact that textures made for the original figure most likely won't work on the new arms, limiting you to the few ones made for the geograft. Or that none of the clothes will work properly either.

Do you have a link for the genesis version?

These are both using the same promo image as the original product that was here; however, everything linked there, the buy button links to the actual vendor's store. These are not actually being sold there.

Ok, using Genesis Four Arms with Forest king, to demonstrate issues.

First, obviously, texture seams unless you make a skin exactly for using the geograft. That's no surprise.

But second, the four arms shape doesn't match the regular arms at ALL. The product will adjust to standard/core shapes (like weight and fitness), but anything new? There's... just no way.

This also means the arm movement is all messed up. It's not incredibly bad here, but I also tried it with Ribbits and got skin folding on itself and all sorts of nonsense.

Why are things removed from the store. Why not continue to sell them?

Reasons including, but not limited to: legal issues, the PA no longer wanting to sell that particular item, and the PA leaving Daz entirely.

Wow. That looks great! Is RenderHub a pretty reliable site for purchases?

It is not a broker like Daz3D is. I have purchased some items with no problems as far as the transactions go. However I have noticed that it is what I call "buyer beware" as far as "what is being sold by who" ... not everything appears to be kosher.
