Soft Body Attach Goofiness

For a long time I've been very frustrated that Carrara's Bullet cloth doesn't have a feature that does a "shrink fit" of clothing on a character, kind of like Marvelous Designer does so incredibly well.

And I've always had in the back of my mind that you could use soft body attach for something like that, although I just can't figure a good way to make it work. Here's what I had in mind, but making something like this useful is what has me stumped. It's not a whole lot different from just adding a directional force to force the clothing against the character, but kinda different. But not really.... :)

Maybe some brilliant mind out there can figure a way to do a shrink fit to fit clothes to a character. And if someone does I'll be their best friend forever. I promise. :)
