Carrara 6 - requires serial/key at each opening?

I've used Carrara for years through many upgrades (since it was called Ray Dream Studio)
A while back I changed computers 
Now when I open my Carrara 6 it requires the serial and product key (no problem - it is all legitimate) 
Now, every time I open it it requires the serial/key each time

Why is this, and is there a way to stop this and just open as usual?

Hi Nate

It's because of "user rights" or priviledges,. and it's part of your Operating system's security.

You need to be Logged in as Administrator,. or Right click the Icon and select ...Run as Administrator.

Put in the serial and it should stick.
