Can't find some old stuff

Hi everyone,
A few months ago, via a major computer crash, I lost a lot of my runtime. I've managed to rebuild a lot of it by going to my account here at Daz, and re-downloading things I've purchased. One thing I can't find in my account archives, however is the Michael 3 base figure. I had it before the crash, and I have a lot of clothing content for M3. It would be a shame not to be able to use it... Any idea where I can find the Michael 3 base figure?

There used to be a bundle of Daz figures in a free download Daz put on download, com -- V3, M3, A3, and H3. Do you think you got them that way?
Are they not still there? I figured DAZ forgot about that years ago.
If you cant find it anyplace you also have the option of grabbing the Generation3 shapes for genesis 1 in the store (Genesis 1,2 and 3 base shapes come bundled free with D|S). With them you should be able to transfer clothing to work on the newer figures. If you want to use older skins you would need the uv.

or if you have a wider range of clothing and skins you'd like yo uuse you can go this route:
https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x2 and https://www.daz3d.com/genx-addon-gen3-bundle
The base figure is her.

would luv genesis clones for Vicki/Mike 1,2, milgirl2, Laura3
was there an SP3 for genesis? she haz some uber kewl scifi outfits
Yes I found the same thing, I had the Cnet bundle too and found later I had to re buy Hiro 3.
another great little tool I find is Clothes Convertor which often goes on sale, buy the last one, it does all the legacy figures and some Poser figures like auto fit for legacy rigging and can keep bones if you do not use the wizard but do them individually.
I convert to M4 and V4 mostly but have gone the other way too.
You can create shapes for Laura and the other gen 3 kids with this one:

Yeah, as far as re-buying M3, I don't see me doing that.... I mean I had him before, so it stands to reason he should be in my archive. All my others - V3, Freak, M2, etc, etc are there, but not M3.... and I have a lot of content for M3. This is irritating
Do you have any idea when you bought him, or whether it was part of a bundle?
ETA: He was part of some of the PC bonus bundles/renewal bonuses at one point. In my Product Library he shows up as "Michael 3.0 Base".
Also, could you have gotten him through a 3D magazine? I got M3 complete from one of them a couple of years ago... I'll go see if I can find out which one its in, in case you still have the disc or mag...
EDIT-
Mine was from 3D World... A 2009 issue... Can't be sure... There is some code at the bottom of the CD sleeve that seems in part to be the date...
But it's CD114... So probably issue 114, whenever that was.
Heres what the sleeve looks like...
The CD case is my doing, they came in cardboard sleeves.
When you use Gen X to move a morph for any figure for Genesis 1 or 2, then it creates a morph for the head and body for that figure. Having got that, you can then set Genesis 1/2 to that figure, set the resolution to base, and export it. Them import the obj using Morph Loader Plus, and convert the imported morph into a clone. It sounds complicated, but is quite straight forward once you have done it once. There are a number of tutorials in the forums that explain the steps in better detail that what I just did.
This is most useful for shapes that have a gen x converter in the store, but no clone shape, for example the gen 3 kids as linked to by Taozen.
March 2009
I honestly don't remember where I got him from. Might have been from a magazine, but this was years ago. I still have some of thos old CD's so I'll take a look thru them. I'm pretty sure he wasn't part of a bundle
There was once a Daz3d figure pack available for free download at Download.com which included M3, V3, A3, & H3 I believe.
