I got Reality 4 here a while ago, does that mean I have Reality 4.1? Also do I still need to download lux renderer in adition to reality 4.1.

Yes to free upgrade lux is now included inside. What I did was create a short cut to lux inside Reality in program files to access it
You need to manually download the new Reality from your Product Library and it comes, as Bobvan says, with it's own version of LuxRender (version 1.5) which it installs and uses, so you do not need to download/install LuxRender yourself.
