Looking for a gothic dress...

I'm looking for a typical gothic dress model (see pictures attached), but somehow the search machines of DAZ and Renderosity don't really help. Has anyone seen a dress similar to those pictures? Doesn't have to be an exact replica, but preferably with a front closed (so not just a feather-kind back, like here: http://www.runtimedna.com/Rockabilly-Burlesque-for-V4.html) and at least reaching till knees length. Colors don't matter, I'll apply shaders anyway. Any model generation will do (from Victoria 4 till Genesis 3 Female).

A couple of possibilities - very inexpensive if you are a PC+ member:
http://www.daz3d.com/onyx-for-genesis-female
http://www.daz3d.com/brc-dark-rose-for-v4-and-a4
if you can find the Galoneal Dress (I get a 404 for that dress) , you could use Galoneal Gothic Textures or Sugar: Texture Expansion for Galoneal V4/A3, but these are the wrong colors
This may suit:
Ernestine Outfit for Genesis 3 Female
with the right shaders.
Maybe Gothic Lolita - contains A3 and V4 versions - although the skirt is a bit big compared to the one you posted. I've seen these textures Bad Lolita that may help.
It's interesting that the ones you posted seem to be outfits I've seen EVERYWHERE.....yet can't locate them once you asked!
@SixDS: Thank you, brc dark rose seems to come very close to what I'm looking for, having those three layers of the dress. A pity its front is still on a short side.
@XaatXuun: Couldn't find the Galoneal Dress either, it's not listed in dependencies anymore on both texture pages. And googling says it's Bobbie's article, but there is no dress in Bobbie's shop at DAZ.
@jakiblue: Gothic Lolita is a bit to "flarish" for what I'm looking for. Ernestine might prove useful. I wonder if it has morphs to change the length of both skirts separetely... And yes, I also have a strong feeling I've seen this type of dress before. But somehow can't find it.
If nothing else turns up, I could try to combine "Brc dark rose" and "the witch for v4" (http://www.daz3d.com/the-witch) to make the dress longer. It's a pity that "Bustier dress" (http://www.daz3d.com/bustier-dress-for-genesis-2-female-s) is so short, it would have been perfect if the skirt was repeated like three times.
A thought...no idea if this could be done, but depending on what you need it for (animation, static render shown from front only etc)....woudl it be possible to 'double up' the BRC Dark rose? As in, load in another instance of teh outfit, not parent it and drop it down a bit.....make the rest of the outfit invisible so you are only seeing the skirt bit to make the dress look like it has layers?
hmm what about Pumpkin Avenue dress?
http://www.daz3d.com/pumpkin-avenue-for-v4
It has long sleeves tho....but in the surfaces tab, you can make the long sleeves and the lace invisible...although that gives you sleeves to the bicep.
That might actually work... Especially when working with transparent shaders. And for a price of 1.99, it's worth a try.
That one has only one layer of skirt, I'm not sure I can get it into this multilayer shape...
Thank you so much for helping me.
My vote would have been for the Dark Rose outfit, if somebody hadn't already beaten me to it!
Even so, have you looked into the Morphing Fantasy Dress? There is one for every DAZ female base figure, from Victoria 3 (for whom the dress was originally made) to Genesis 3 Female (recently released), and there are literally crap-loads of textures for it all over the Web, from here at DAZ, to Renderosity to RuntimeDNA, and even ShareCG. There has to be something out there that can give you the look you want. It also has material zones out the gazotch (if you're seriously into procedural shaders, and prefer to go that route), and if you're using Poser, you can import the mesh into the Cloth Room and make it dynamic! Yes, the mesh is really that simple and uncluttered.
Any texture for any incarnation of the MFD will work on all of the others -- except for the MFD for Stephanie 3 Petite; for some unfathomable reason, the mesh for S3P's dress is different.
It is a shame that some of Mada's older outfits were never redone for V4 or upwards, they would be ideal

http://www.daz3d.com/cherry-blossom-for-a3
Cherry blossom dress does have a v4 version: http://www.daz3d.com/cherry-blossom-for-v4
Only $18 for a 10 year old CGI dress? What a bargain!
How about a free one, comes with dress, layered overskirt, boots and gloves...

Make sure you grab the one I linked to or if you go searching you get the one marked new, since the original has no morphs, only the new one does.
another one I spotted, Lucifairy, but looks like it comes with a lot of requirements
Queen of Shadow for Genesis 3 Female(s) don't know how I missed that one
Louisiana Dress, close
Sadie Dress, again close
7th Ave: Bustier Dress with GOTHIKA for Bustier Dress Textures
and break time, I'm enjoying looking for that dress, seeing a lot nice dresses searching . . up to page 26 of hundred and something pages
not too surprised seeing a lot of dresses that look alike, Don't want to say "Shocked there are no dresses like you requested", not just yet, still 80 pages to look through
Unfortunately I don't own older figures. I do have Aiko 3 lying around somewhere, but no characters for it.
The 7th Ave Bustier Dress is still a texture pack, namely for the Bustier dress for Gen2Female (http://www.daz3d.com/bustier-dress-for-genesis-2-female-s) and I think it's a bit too short for what I need.
Louisiana Dress is again on the short side. Sadie Dress comes damn close, I've noted it down, thanks. Although I probably will wait till the next sale to get it. ;)
Ok, so for now I've got myself the Dark Rose outfit and the freebie Gothic for V4 (suggested by Faeryl). And I already had the MeriMay dress for Genesis 2 Female, which has like a gazzilion of morphs. The attached files show my result.
I found the Gothic for V4 skirt having non-working morphs. As in it has sliders, but the sliders do nothing. To cicumvent that, I auto-fitted the Gothic skirt to MeriMay dress and it seems to follow quite nicely out of the box. Probably some minor adjusting will be needed for a specific pose, but still quite an improvement on parenting it to Genesis 2 figure. Probably because MeriMay dress has more bones?
So, this outfit is made the following way:
1. Corset from Dark Rose
2. Underskirt is MeriMay dress
3. Overskirt is the Gothic for V4 skirt freebie
Plus some shaders applied. I know it's still not what I originally aimed for, but comes very close. What do you guys think?
Not too much a fan of the top,but that is me. looks good
I mainly been looking for a complete dress like the ones you used as examples, I passed on a couple that could had been pieced together like you did.
I won't give up looking till I've been through all the pages in my search. been searching for something similar, but only in the free areas (since that's all I can afford)
Another option is the Wonderland Alice V4 Set and one of the add on texture packs, Alexia or Alys, all $1.99 if you are in the PC+.
Wonderland: http://www.daz3d.com/wonderland-alice-v4
Alexia: http://www.daz3d.com/alexia
Alys: http://www.daz3d.com/alys
LOL me too; just goes to show - an included item in a bundle I may just use one day - not likely tbh, but not impossible.
just a couple more
Gothic Moon, maybe add the same over skirt, like you did in your image ? but requires Selene for Victoria 4
this looks close V4 Fairy Gown if you also get Night of the Living DAZ: Bewitch for Fairy Gown
close . Vintage Layered Dress Dynamic
Renaissance Romance now I know this one not too short
this looks close, Dark Passion for Genesis 2 Female(s)
okay break time, that got me to Page 58 of 114
okay, been through all the pages, I found a lot that may been close, just to learn they were just a Texture
and here is my final search
Dynamic Skirts 1 for Victoria 4 & Dynamic Skirts 2 for Victoria 4,but can only be used in Poser only, added them, since maybe they could be possibles
AngelicDress could work
Black Kitty, thought if you add a skirt, then another possible
LotusGown Base for V4 and A4, another possible
just reread you first post I think I did pass up a couple others, I was looking for dresses to match the image, I didn't catch this part when I read the post " but preferably with a front closed (so not just a feather-kind back, like "
I'm surprised Arabella didn't come out with any interesting gothic dresses.
Another free one (complete with permission for commercial usage) which you might be able to do something with is Wendy's 'G2F Ra Ra Dress'...

Double comment posted, sorry.
Wow, XaatXuun, you've been digging! That's quite a lot of suggestions, thank you so much. I hope it didn't distract you from anything more important.
Gothic moon looks nice, but requires another skirt on top, since it doesn't have layers. Noted in my list anyway, it has a nice top.
The Fairy Gown and the Night of living DAZ: they're definitely nice looking, and have layers, but I think it's more of a gown. The structure is much more "loose" if you know what I mean, while gothic dresses are famous for their tidy corsets as a top.
Vintage layer dress dynamic: Unfortunately I don't have Poser, so no go for me. Same for Dynamic Skirts 1 and 2.
Renaissaince romance: it looks like it's only for Aiko 3?
Dark passion: hell of a gothic outfit. I wonder why it didn't show when I typed "goth" in the DAZ search machine. The skirt is still not layered, but I think I'll buy it anyway, since it's so cool and for Genesis 2 Female, so can be used with Lilith 6. And PC+ item as well.
Angelic Dress: looks very interesting, I wonder how it would look with proper shaders. Haven't seen such layer structure before.
Black kitty: front is too short... Or one needs indeed a second skirt.
Lotus gown: hmmm, might work. Also a strange layer system, need to think how it looks like with shaders. But it is on 60% sale, so tempting.
Any idea if the skirt is layered? It does look so in the promo's, but the specs only say Underskirt texture and Apron texture, which suggests that the texture map for the skirt is whole, and not split. Does anyone have the figure to test if it has separed shader areas for the skirt?
Looks promising, I'll take a look at it with my shaders and post the results.
Thank you so much guys for all the suggestions. I would never have found them alone.
Wonderland Alice showing the surfaces tab and the effect of making various surface invisisible using the opacity setting, hope this helps. Note that there is also a Unimesh add-on that adds some extra bodyshape fits/morphs.
Left: Full Dress & Apron (1 mesh)
Centre: Belt, Undershirt & underdress invisible
Rght: Apron, Overshirt & Overskirt invisible.
Watch out for anything by Tipol. Great designs, but nearly always Poser dynamic. Fine if you are using Poser...
not at all, it gave me something to do, your timing couldn't had been better, where I needed something to browse for.
There are tons of free MFD textures on ShareCG. This one is my favorite. Lots of mix and match options with it.

Holy poot, you weren't kidding. yoink x9000
And the V4 Nymph dress is here

I used the DarkStar MFD here:

There are so many MFD textures, why even a total amateur like me has done one!
