Hey guys,
I am curious what you would recommend for attaining realistic sun and skys in iRay. I am having a lot of difficulty with the stock dome/sun-sky setup.
Thanks again.

A good HDRI would be my suggestion. I've been using this alot myself: http://www.daz3d.com/iradiance-hdri-variety-pack-one. There's a pack two of that too and I believe there's decent freebies to get somewhere too.
I would recommend this one, it has a beach and wooded areas with a bright sun.

Yeah the wooded areas in that set are awesome for lighting. I found I had to add an extra light to the beach HDRI though. The sun just didn't have that bright effect on characters skins like the wooded areas do. I don't have Pack One yet. One of these days maybe. There's some decent freebies at hdri-hub also.
