Is it possible?

  • Given a tool that creates Fibermesh geometry, yes.

Moving this to Technical Help forum as it is a question not a product suggestion.

and they are huge files, 40MB & 80MB respecitively but they are nice, however to my untrained and unexpert eye they look as if the hair is too dense so you could maybe reduce the size by making the hair less dense and longer.

I'm surprised tbh no one has produced something. There are various body hair products on various sites, but none - which could arguably be considered - to be the most urgent.

That's a product my cash is waiting for.:)

I don't know. I think if you look harder those can be found to buy.

Laticis has just released a fibermesh beard...maybe he will do more?

I REALLY like Laticis' fibermesh eyebrows and hope he makes a bunch of them. I'd happily pay for such a product.

Particularly since at some point it's going to look weird that 2/3 of my renders have the same eyebrows. ;)

I think you can make your own with LAMH. LOL, at least that's what I bought it for yesterday.

Uh...I was wondering where my thread disappeared to. It was meant as a product suggestion so I dont really get why it was put in the technical forum Oo

I already have the free Laticis brows for Gen2 but while it works well on Gen3 its only 1 type of brow. We need more styles like thick, thin, bushy etc. They would make a LOT of difference in closeup renders.

I think the mod read it as being a question about the technical possibility of such being made rather than a request that an artist consider making such a thing as a product.

Alfred for G2M also has his own facial hair, including eyebrows. I tend to use his a lot for characters where it would make sense and work. The tricky bit being that painted eyebrows have a tendency to not quite match up. Both the Laticis freebie and Sickleyield's Beautiful Skin Iray have eyebrow masks that can block out the painted on versions, though. (And I never remember that when I'm using them.)

In general, his eyebrows autofit to G3M reasonably well, although there are occasional characters where instead of being where they should, they wind up either in the middle of the top of his head or even floating above it. Oddly, I've found that Marius' eyebrows work for those, most times.

Jeez... thanks for pointing this out, I have owned Alfred since his release and I didn't even realize these were included! I'll have to go look at those.
