Tips, Troubleshooting, and Best Practices
1. Gaps Between Body Parts Using Rthro Narrow Rig Scale
The Problem:
When using the Rthro Narrow Rig Scale, gaps may appear between your character’s body parts.
The Solution:
– Open Roblox Studio and navigate to:
Avatar > Customize > Head & Body > Build.
– Adjust the Body Type slider to the top-left corner of the Body Type triangle.
2. Leaning Back Animation When Idle
The Problem:
Your character leans back unnaturally while idle.
The Solution:
Customize your character’s animations by selecting:
– Realistic-Idle or
– Rthro Idle in Roblox Studio.
3. Textures Rejected by Roblox Studio
The Problem:
After importing your .fbx file, Roblox Studio rejects the ColorMap, NormalMap, or RoughnessMap within seconds.
The Solution:
1. Locate the `.fbm` texture subfolder in the same directory as your .fbx file.
2. Delete the `.fbm` folder.
3. Re-import the 3D file into Roblox Studio.
Daz Has You Covered: Modesty Morphs for Content Moderation
Daz has you covered with modesty overlays and the “Breasts Gone Morph” option in the “Roblox Export Options” dialog. This helpful overlay applies to your shape, minimizing the risk of rejection by Roblox’s moderation team and keeping your Roblox account safe. To further ensure compliance with moderation policies, check out Genesis 9 Body Shapes, which includes the “Breast Gone” shape. Accessory Optimization
Merge All Clothing Together:

Delete unseen portions of the mesh (e.g., undershirts or jacket linings) for cleaner, more efficient exports.
Remove Hair Cap:
Simplifies hair assets by removing scalp or hair cap geometry from Daz hair models.
Looking to the Future
While the exporter is packed with cool new features, there are a few limitations to keep in mind in our current stage:
– Genesis 8/8.1 characters are not yet supported.
– Strand-based hair cannot currently be converted.
Not to fret – we are always looking to improve our exporters so stay tuned for expanded functionality in future updates!
