Delay when posting?

I'm new here, and maybe a bit impatient....I posted a reply to a thread over an hour ago, and it'd still not visible. Are delays to be expected? If so, it kind of kills spontaneous discussion!

    I joined a few days back, and I'm not certain that the forum (Bryce) is working for me.....Does it normally take a long time for posts to show up on the thread? I posted a reply over an hour ago, and I still cannot see it. If a delay is normal, it kind of kills any spontaneous discussion!

    Because we had been having a major problem with Spam  Daz utilised one of the built in filters which does mean that New members have to be approved for a certain number of posts.  Unfortunnately you got caught up at a time when no one was around to approve your post.

    I have triggered the system, so you shouldn't suffer any delays in future.
