Polygon selection tool missing

A few months back I started using Daz studio to subdivide a model I have into face groups. I was able to use the polygon selection tool and highlight the individual polygons I wanted in the separate groups, and assign them to the specific face groups. For some reason when I started Daz studio today, that tool is just not there anymore. I believe the hotkey for it was opt+shift+g.

Any idea what I may have done to hide this option, or some option i toggled to disable this tool?

    It's not in the Tools menu? Are you using the full DAZ Studio Pro from the store, and did you enter your serial number? If you are suing the direct;y downloaded zip I think you ave only Standard, and if you didn't enter your Pro serial the setup tools (among others) will not be enabled.

    I have the free version, so I take it I had a trial at first, and now to continue using the polygon selection tool I have to have a full version?

    Yes, which is free.
