Using Poser files in Daz

I have only recently started using Das 4.6 and absolutely loving it. Because I have been a Poser user for years I have a lot of Poser only files and was wondering if it is possible to use the material files in Daz. I am currently working on something and although the material files show up in my content library window I don't know how to apply them or if I can.

Is this possible?

    Most textures will but no Shader based files will. Poser and DAZ Studio use different shader systems. For Textures you must have the clothing or item selected in the scene Tab to apply the textures to the items. Then you will need to adjust some of the surface settings by hand, all poser textures do not look right in DS but many will. You will not know until you set up lights and do a test render or a spot render.
