DS closing down

Hi, several times recently DS has closed down on me without warning, and the error message says "access violation". This seems to happen whilst scrolling through my contents as I'm searching for something. Could it be that my old laptop can't handle the long list of items and thumbnails?

    Did it say what caused the access violation?

    I can't remember, but I'll take notice next time. It's mainly happened while scrolling through the content library though, using the arrow keys. Judging by how slow my computer uses DS nowadays, I think it may be nearing the end of its life.
