What is the difference between pp. and p4. files?

    I assume you have downloaded an older Poser product. Poser 4 files will ask to convert any bump maps to .bum files, as P4 could not read jpg in the bump channel. You need to use the pp files as that is the original ProPack, came before Poser 5, and it does read jpg in the bump channel, as do any more recent Poser versions.
