Batch Rendering animations in DS

Just tried to render several animations, but am having a problem:

the image file path does not seem to be saved in each .ds file.
After I render the first animation, the batch render plugin tries to overwrite the first series of images.

For example, animation 1 is set to save to 'animation 1' folder, and animation 2 is set to save to 'animation 2' folder.
But, animation 2 tries to overwrite animation 1 in the wrong folder. It's like the script does not abide by the saved render settings relating to file paths.

Is there any way to get this script work with animations ?
