Ring a Ring o' Roses

Everyone knows that Vamderlug Bloodforge, the Bloodthirsty Dwarf, is an excellent warrior. The Holy Hunters, the team of adventurers he belongs to, travel the world defeating ancient dragons and other terrifying magical creatures. His gruff and unfriendly nature has led many to fear him: if among the Holy Hunters the most loved is the elf Ninleyn, Vamderlug is the most misunderstood. Few people know of his kind side and his love for children. Few people know that the reason for the legendary quarrels between him and Ninleyn is not his hatred of elves but Ninleyn's tendency to make fun of him. "The Bloodthirsty Dwarf!? No, you are the Softhearted Dwarf! A true Bloodthirsty Dwarf would not carry children on a piggyback or play Ring a Ring o' Roses with them!" The elf teases him. The dwarf has promised himself several times to behave as his bloody fame requires but an "Uncle Lug, come and play with us?" it's enough to destroy all his resolve. Around and around and around, participating in a circle dance with elves children is not that bad!

This is actually my second idea but my first render this month.

Starring: Ellie Angelie and Walther

The tale:

The old rusty playground merry-go-round hadn't turned around for years. At age 5, Ellie Angelie got one of the bars against her head and left a scar on her right eyebrow. Her younger brother Walther, who has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, has to compulsively try at least once a week for the merry-go-round to turn again. "It should go around and around and around!" "Just like your little satellite goes around the globe..." Ellie Angelie replied. "No, no no no no, that's a big misunderstanding, the satellite doesn't fly around the globe, the earth rotates and that's why it seems that way!" Walther said...

The old rusty playground merry-go-round hadn't turned around for years. At age 5, Ellie Angelie got one of the bars against her head and left a scar on her right eyebrow. Her younger brother Walther, who has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, has to compulsively try at least once a week for the merry-go-round to turn again. "It should go around and around and around!" "Just like your little satellite goes around the globe..." Ellie Angelie replied. "No, no no no no, that's a big misunderstanding, the satellite doesn't fly around the globe, the earth rotates and that's why it seems that way!" Walther said...
