Need some help.

First thing Hello to everyone.

Second can someone point me in the right direction (and please don't say follow the yellow brick road) for some help.
I'm trying to get a skin effect like you see in zombie flicks where the capilaries just under the skin turn black.

third does Daz Studio have a way to render multiple layers for a image. The computer I use isn't that powerful so the best I can do is two figures and the back ground if its not to detailed. Any special lighting or if I try more than that it boggs down bad.
I was figuring that if I could do a scene in layers it might work out. Right now I can't afford to get a new computers so I'm stuck with what
I can do.

Here is some of my work. http://dmackeyjh.deviantart.com/gallery/

I'm not aware about any skins that do that... have you looked at the existing Zombie skins?
The only idea I have is using LIE, adding a custom made overlay to the skin, similar to this product:

As for the second part, is this what you are looking for? http://www.daz3d.com/mask-and-multipass-toolbox

You can do layers manually, if you render and save to png or tiff you will get a mask to separate the actual geometry so that you can layer multiple renders one on top of the other. The big problems will be where the shadow of one item should fall on others and reflections of one object in another since those require all the interacting items to be loaded at once.
