Shapes for Genesis

Hello, I've searched the forums and I couldn't find a thread on this specific item. Sorry if this problem has been addressed and I just couldn't find it.

At the end of July I bought "A4 and H4 for Genesis" ( http://www.daz3d.com/a4-and-h4-for-genesis ) and "Gen 3 Iconic Shapes for Genesis" ( http://www.daz3d.com/gen-3-iconic-shapes-for-genesis ). I own Genesis, Genesis basic female and male, all the way up to the recent Genesis female 3. I also have the  Genesis Evolution: Body Morphs and head morphs. ( http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-evolution-morph-bundle )

I tend to use Dazstudio 4.6, but I do have 4.8. But I can't find the shapes and I don't know what to do. Honestly I don't like the Genesis figures and all of the changes to Dazstudios. I was just starting to find the V4 and M4 figures useful and figuring out how to morph them. I wish I could go back to using Dazstudios 3.something.

Could someone please show me a tutorial on how to use shapes and morphs on the Genesis figures? Am I missing a requirement for the products I bought to work with Genesis? Which Genesis figure(s) do they work with?

Thank you

There are no 'user facing files'...that basically means they will just be sliders on the Parameters or Shaping (or both) tabs.

    How did you install them?

Can you post a screen shot of your mapped content folders?  (Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager...expand both DS and Poser formats).

I used the install manager as soon as they were in product library. When I could find them I also downloaded the zip files and installed them that way just in case. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with the install manager just incase there had been a clich when setting them up.

Post the screenie of your mapped content...it looks like DIM and Studio aren't on the same page.

Thanks for the help. I had to put Daz on hold for a while until I got a new power cord for my laptop.

Have you customized the location DIM installs to?  The default DIM install location isn't listed.

You have a bunch of nested libraries under Poser Formats, almost all of it should be removed.  You should never install content to the Program Files folders, the stuff Poser installs there is specific to the program and Studio should have no need to access it.
