Importing Daz animation into C4D

Hey guys, I'm a pretty new user to Daz but I love it.  The simplicity of the presets is great, something ive been looking for a longtime.

My question is importing an animation/model into C4D R16.  I cannot seem to get it to work, I've tried for days now, ravaging through the internet trying to find an answer.

So, I open DAZ, load a model and an animation.  I then export as .fbx

Everytime I load the .fbx into C4D, everything works except the animation.  It is noted that the "select takes" dialog comes up and says "0s animation" which seemingly implies there is no animation in the .fbx?

Has anyone got this to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated

James

When you say "load a model and an animation" are you loading an aniblock, or a .bvh file?  Aniblocks probably have to be baked to frames before they'll export properly in .fbx.

@hphoenix they are aniblocks.... I will investigate baking the animation.  Thanks so much for your help.  I will report back if it works.  If anything else has a suggestion, I would appreciate that.
