How to handle multiple installers for same product

I'm using DS Pro 4.5.1.6. These questions are about products that have both a DS installer and a DPC installer.
When both have to be installed, should I say YES to creating an uninstaller during both installs?
When I want to uninstall something, I see only one uninstaller. Will it uninstall both parts of the product?
After uninstalling a product, why does it still show up in the Content Library? Do I have to uninstall metadata from the Content Library menu, too?
This has been puzzling me for quite a long time, but I didn't uninstall much. Now that we have so many things to uninstall to get the DSON versions with updated metadata, this is bothering me more and more.

Generally, with Bitrock installers, it won't uninstall something it didn't install...but, in the case of a second installer adding on to what the first installed, the first uninstaller gets overwritten by the second. If the second is the additional files, then yes, it should uninstall everything...
