Creating proper materials pathway for character distribution

Hi, I'm trying to distribute a character I created with a full set of materials (diffuse, bump, etc) but I'm having trouble creating a pathway that doesn't lead to my hard drive. Apparently, it has to point directly to the root of the Runtime (ie, the pathway looks like Runtime/Textures/), but I don't know how to bypass the file's location on my computer. Surely this can't be that difficult and there's a simple solution I'm just not aware of? Right now my pathways look like this: E:/Users/Public/Documents...
Thanks!!

I've not read it yet but on Rendo the lady with the nickname boudicca has a free tutorial you can download on doing what you are trying.
Thank you for the reply! I looked her up and couldn't find anything. Do you have a link, by chance?
Other people call Renderosity, Rendo here which makes me think posting a link to their site might get deleted before long.

Anyway there is a link to her tutorial and she has other good ones too.
I really appreciate your help. I did find that one already, but unfortunately the file is basically empty. It opens up a pdf but there's nothing there.
You should retry to download. My copy is a 15 page PDF that while not exhaustive documentation on every possible thing you might legally redistribute from DAZ Studio output, it does cover the basics quite well.
I finally got the tutorial. However, it really doesn't address my issue, so I'm still looking for a solution.
Go to My Daz 3D Library> Runtime>Textures and create a folder, (Your name) and nest a (Your product name) folder within it.
The reason I use (Your name) is if you plan to do more products/freebies, they can all go under your name.
Place the textures you are using for your presets in the (Your product name) folder. Once you've done that, load your figure/prop/whatever and under Surfaces, browse to the textures in this folder to load them. Now when you save the material presets, they will reference the textures within the (Your product name) folder correctly. If you previously created Material presets that had wrong references, just rebrowse to their new correct location after applying the preset and resave the preset with the correct references.
Awesome, thanks!
