Shadows + eyelashes = Yikes!

This may sound like a weird question; but is there a way to turn off eyelashes' shadows without making them totally inviz? I have had several pics now come out with these weird striped shadows on people's cheeks that I found out were from eyelashes.

Please help, and thank you.

Iray or 3Delight? An example image might help - one issue it might be, in 3Delight, is the Shadow Bias setting opening a gap between lashes and shadow.

I think it's the transmap bug that has yet to go away and seems to be completely random.

Parent everything in the scene to the figure, then move the figure back to 0,0,0 location and that should fix the football player eyeliner

It is 3Delight, and I had thought the yelashes were already parented

Yes, but if you have other stuff (lights and cameras at least) you want to keep in the same relationship it easier to parent everything to the figure (or to a Null) and move that to carry everything together. Of course that does assume the issue is related to being away from the origin.
