Hi everyone I need some help with animating my Dinosaur model I am having serious trouble with the walking I can do everything else like roaring tail swinging etc, it's just getting the dinosaur to walk. I am using Daz Studio 4 and the plug in accessory AniMate2.
Now I have tried to move the legs as a dinosaur walks anyway but cannot seem to get it to touch the gound on 0 axis where it originally was? Do I need to move the whole dino model forward to get the foot to touch the ground or what I've been trying to find some video tutorials on how to do this type of animation and cannot find a thing on it only the finished project of the animations on youtube.

Anybody done this sort of thing before, if so could they help me sort this problem out, chears.

Ian.

p.s By the way what is the black and white dot thing that AniMate2 has as can't figure out what it does?

I have never tried animation but have a few Dinoraul models. For some reason they do not come with the ability to move in all 3 axes so while you can move limbs you may not be able to move the whole thing. I got round this by adding a sphere, making ti invisible and parenting the dino model to it, so I just move the sphere to move the dino.

Ok then I'll give that a try and see what happens, I hope i can get these to work as I'm making my own Dino film and need these to work properly.
