How do You Open Animate2?

I got it installed supposedly beause i bought it before. But i go to panes Animate and the window for animat2 doesn't pop up?  I used Animate before in DAZ 3. in fact that's when i bought it but there you would open the thing and it would open in a window similar to the Timeline.

So how do i access it now?

Have you entered the Animate 2 serial number in the appropriate field in Help>About Installed Plug-ins?

Yes i have Richard. ANd it has the Green light meaning It's loaded. I can open AnimateLight. That does open but there isn't any animate2 to open. There is a thing called animate2 constraints in the Panes list but that just opens a window saying "Unavailable in Light Version"

By default there is an animate2 timeline tab at the bottom left in DAZ Studio.

There isn't on mine. there was just a litle verticle line on the bottom left

Oh, should have read you earlier message better. Your serial number must be incorrect. if I remember right I had to buy animate and then animate2 when it was upgraded a few years back. The old 'animate Pro' or whatever it was exactly called is not the same as animate2. It got confusing for a while figuring out what one had licensed and what one didn't have licensed with all the various incarnations of DAZ Studio Free, Regular, and Pro version plus all the plugins packaging that were out there over the years. I've bought several versions of Mimic never quite knowing what was actually the 'good working' version that I actually wanted.

Interesting, then how come it says my animate2 plugin is loaded?

Have you tried just reloading your workspace or loading a different workspace? Window>Workspace>Select Layout...

That should bring back any missing standard panes. Also try the selection in that same menu for seeing Off Screen Pane (Tab) Groups.

There is in the middle of the DAZ Studio app, at the bottom of the viewport an up & down arrow (hide & un-hide the tabs at bottom of DAZ Studio). See if you see that and click the up arrow.

Thanks i did that and switched from City Limits lIte layout to city limits. Now i can see 2 buttons at the bottom animateLite and Timeline.  But i don't understand why it's animate Lite and not animate2. Oh and the Offscreen Pane Tab groups is just empty window.

Hi Guys> Solved!!!!   Although it said my animate2 was loaded.  The actual serial that was entered was wrong that's why i still had the serial box to enter the serial number( when it's already fine the box disappears) I entered it again.  Now the box disappeared. and it no longer says "0 days for Evaluation" in the description Then i looked in my 2 buttons at the bottom animateLite and TimeLine...and now instead of animateLite it says animate2.  Yeah!!!
