How do you make mirrors reflect their surroundings in Basic OpenGL renders?

I've managed to make the surfaces of "mirror" props show a direct refection of the objects in front of them by making a few adjustments to settings in Iray renders, but I can't seem to make mirrors reflect in Basic OpenGL renders. I want to create a movie render with reflecting mirrors and I don't want to leave my computer running for several days to accomplish that using Iray or even Intermediate OpenGL settings, so is there any way to make mirrors reflect using Basic OpenGL render settings?

True reflections require some form of ray-tracing, meaning Iray or 3Delight as far as DS goes. OpenGL is not suitable.
