Materials

Hi

I am using DAZStudio 4.5 Pro
This might sound like a dumb question. In my content tab there is a directory called "Materials". How do I apply a material to a figure.

    Which tab do you mean, is it Smart Content? There is also a Content Library tab.

    Applying materials in DAZ Studio is done either by loading a textured figure in the first place, or by apply a material from a material preset by double clicking on it. If you select My Library > People > Genesis > Materials, you will find a list of mats there for Genesis. You must have the object selected in the Scene tab first, the double click or drad and drop the material to the workspace.

    If you have a material of your own to apply, you would use the Surfaces tab.
