Broken geometry on Twin Tails for Genesis 3 Female(s) by Aeon Soul ?

It seems that the geometry of the hair piece Twin Tails for Genesis 3 Female(s) by Aeon Soul is broken especially at the back (as shown in the attached image). After parenting the Hair figure to a G3f figure (note: I have tried conforming to g3f as well but the result is the same or worse) I simply rendered an image of the back of the head and found that the geometry is very jagged and not at all smooth as I would expect.
Is this intentional? Am I doing something wrong?

For comparison, here is the back of the new Fayette hair.
[The hair is great, the colours well... not so much! However the price atm is definitely right!]
I don't know that that is broken - just that it doesn't split the hair with a neat parting down the middle, which is a design decision.
The promo pic does not show the back like the OPs example
Does it look like that on the standard G3 or is it something that just happens on your morphed version?
I can not reproduce the problem today. (Despite the fact that I could not get rid of it yesterday!)
The attached image shows the twin tails on it's own, on g3f and loaded on to my morphed g3f and on my morphed figure yesterday. Aside from a little mesh distortion in the tails on my morphed figure, the back looks quite normal today (note the textures are different). However there clearly was distortion yesterday. DS weirdness?
Thanks for your comments.
Did you by chance have the geometry editing tool selected when you rendered the first image?
Hi Sad,
I could not say. If I get a moment tomorrow, I'll try to repeat with that setting.
