Toonimal Goldfish in Goldfish Bowl

Hey, I am trying to render in iRay the Toonimal Goldfish in it's Goldfish Bowl. So from the DAZ Shader Preset Defaults - I convert the goldfish, golfish bowl & it's contents to iRay Uebersurfaces. Then I convert the Goldfish Bowl to the iRay 'Thin Glass' in the same iRay Presets section. Then in the same section I convert the water to iRay Water (I also tried iRay Dispersed Water and iRay Thin Water).

Then I render and everthing below the surface of the water disappears, even the exterior of the fish bowl! One only see the glass of the fishbowl about the water line and you only guess there is supposed to be water below that water line where the fishbowl disappears.

Thanks.

Applied Thin-Glass-Clear Iray shader to the Glass material and Water Iray shader to the Water material.  Lighting Sun-Sky.

Hmmm....So maybe it's the lighting I'm using...I'm using the Pixar HRDI Freebie for lighting. I will change to your suggestion.

Wow, that's still a very cute product.

    Thanks. laugh

I typically test a render using the built-in Iray lights on the Iray Render Settings tab, sun-sky, scene, dome, etc.. before trying Iray light presets.  I also noticed many Iray light presets I've purchased didn't light the bowl, glass and water well at all.

That's interesting to learn. I guess that means the light information in them must be wrong.
