    very nice

only suggestion would be to get the hair flatter in front to look more slicked back

    Question for the group......

In the TOS series timeframe, any guesses on what Klingon civilian clothing would look like?

I am thinking about using Xurge's Renaissance clothing.

I kind of think outside of the armour we all see, the women would be Alfaseed/ aery soul. while the men would be a kind of complimentary look and style.

    Rduda,

    Data looks fantastic.

I think it would depend on who the civilian is. I'd imagine it would still be somewhat formal, but a bit utilitarian.

I think it fits under "Generic Starship Bridge", you could use it for anything, really.

if I'm not mistaken, it's modeled after the battle bridge of the Enterprise-D

Okay, you guys have been wanting renders, so here we go. It's no secret that in my next story, the crew comes home. As a result, I needed the Kirk Ranch- mentioned in a couple of previous books. With the exception of the stairs- which came from the P.I.C.K construction kit, everything you see in these pics was built by me.

    Nice modeling.

Maybe I should try working on that Sims Beacon again. Someday.

Thanks, Thalek. It's getting there. The idea is that the house was built in the late 1800's and has been in the family for generations. They preserved as much of the original structure as possiable while also bringing it upto 23rd century standards.

It looks fantastic. I envy your skill. I don't know about the rest of the gang here but I would love to see more original bridge sets. You may be on to something here with your new concepts.

I was hoping originally to make my own, not just for the ego boo, but also what it could teach me about modeling.

But I'm not crazy: if someone else has a version that is better than my own, I'm going to get it.

I'd like to discuss with you privately how you made the band fit a variety of characters; that was one of my problems I was unable to resolve.

    I need some help!

I have a great model of Kirk's shirt from "Errand of Mercy" and I do not remember where I got it. Problem is, it crashes every time I open a file I saved it into.

    Here's the shirt:
    http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq353/Raymar3d/Costumes/KirkTunic-1.jpg

    Here's the one Kirk wore:
    http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq353/Raymar3d/Costumes/errandofmercyhd571-1.jpg

It is an M3 Tunic, but I can't find the original source file. It's still in my runtime, but like I said, it crashes when re-opened.

Ken, are you sure that's not the M3 tunic with a texture map?

It loads straight up as is, not as a map. It's a full model. I thought it might have been a texture for the regular M3 tunic, but this one doesn't appear to be.
