There is no differences between Victoria 4 and 4.2, they use old Poser format rigging.  Genesis 2 Female is the base female for DAZ's sixth generation figures, the Genesis and Genesis 2s use newer TriAx weightmap rigging that was developed by DAZ.  Victoria 6 is a morph for G2F.

Does that make the V4 compatible with poser conntent?

    Victoria 4 is Poser content.

I'm sorry for sounding so dumb, but how does that work with Daz Studio?

  • If the figure is installed correctly it should be in the Content Library pane under Poser Formats>My Daz 3D Library>Figures>DAZ People, where My Daz 3d Library will be the folder you installed to. If you installed manually rather than through DIM there is another step required, does that apply here?

I have to check when I get home.  I have only worked with G2 & G3.  I haven't tried going backwards, but I've seen some good V4 renders, so I thought about playing around with it a little bit.
