Pushing changes to DSF

I've been working on rigging a figure in DAZ (unrelated to another post). I started out using the genesis 2 rigging as a base. The problem I have is that now the rigging information is stored in the DUF and two DSF files: the figures own geometry and the genesis 2 geometry. Worth noting the rig has changed entirely from the Gen 2 rig with bones being changed or replaced and new bones added and the goemtry of the new figure is entriely different yet the original Gen 2 DSF is required as the current bone info appears to be relative.

 

How do I compile all these changes into the figures own DSF, removing reliance on the Gen 2 DSF?

  • This is a good reason for not using an existing figure as a starting point, unless you need to because you are creating an add-on. All I can suggest is trying to save as a figure asset again - it's not a situtation I have run into.

    No that's all it took. Basically just needed to give DS a poke and make it resave the base assetts.
