IRAY Shaders Missing after Logging into DAZ Connect

Howdy.
I logged into DAZ Connect through the install tab in studio earlier today. I use the install manager to install my purchases and only tried this because I was being nagged everytime I launched Studio.
I suppose it's possible that there is another cause, but...
Any idea why Mec4d PBS Shaders would go missing from the IRAY presets tab?

Where are you looking for them (I don't know for sure what you mean by "Iray presets tab")? Can you show a screen shot of where you are looking?
It is possible that Daz Connect has more up to date metadata than DIM or manual install. They may be categorized differently than they were with another install method. Look in Smart Content>Shader Sets. Do you see them there? If you have Filter by Context checked, uncheck it.
Look in Content Library>Products>M>Mec4d PBS Shaders... Do you see them there?
As far as I know, Mec4D's shaders have never loaded under the presets tab. I have all of the sets and they do not show in Iray presets. FWIW, I have a LOT of Iray shaders and less than half show in the Iray Presets tab. Presuming the attached is the tab we are talking about. Thanks for reminding me though. I don't use that tab, but see that it is a quick grab for some of the things.
On my system, Surface presets have always included context sensitive selections of shaders from the content library.
Yesterday morning, MEC4D choices were apearing in the Presets pane of the Surfaces tab, making surface selection much simpler.
Goto Editor pane
Select the surface
Click Presets pane
Choose IRAY
Slect from available IRAY Shader Presets
Now I have to schlep the pointer across the screen to the Content Library Tab, find the Shader Presets category, losing my place with the preset materials for people and objects in the process.
Much more difficult workflow.
Is this the "New" way or just back to the "Old" way after an aborted improvement?
They are in the Content Library, but MEC4D Shaders are now missing from the Presets pane of the Surfaces tab.
OK, now I understand what you mean by "Presets tab" you are talking about part of the Surfaces pane.
In DS 4.9.3.56, They show up for me in the Surfaces pane Presets tab under Shader Sets and also under Shaders>Iray>Metal, for example. However, I've had these shaders for quite awhile, and I can't remember whether I had to fix any bad metadata for those products myself or not. If you can't find them where I show them in the attached screenshot, you'd better submit a help request.
You could also try reimporting metadata from Content Library Maintenance, and see if that fixes it.
