Porting LuXSI to Carrara for LuxRender support?
A reboot of the thread "Porting Pose2lux using PyCarrara to get Luxrender into Carrara?"
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/9737/
Since Python in Carrara only offers basic functionality, it looks like a C++ exporter for LuxRender is a better start for a Carrara port.
Of all the exporters at http://src.luxrender.net/ only LuXSI supports C++ and is kept up-to-date.

Bad news, one last try to get Reality to Carrara failed, though it was a long shot:

Good news, got the compiler to run LuXSI and some of the Carrara samples in 64bit.
It takes Paolo 12 months full time to do Reality for Poser, LuXSI is 5 years in the making, huge projects, anybody interested to help out?
I might be, I have a few things on my plate but I would be interested just not sure if I can follow through at the moment.
