Moving characters from G2 to G3 question

I've purchased a number of G2 packages and using the character pre-sets, I've created some very unique looking individuals by using 15% of this character and 25% of that character and 60% of another character, etc.

I would like to move my creations to G3 since a lot more stuff ie becoming available. However, my characters have a unique look to them because of the blending of the different character pre-sets that I described above. Is there a way to migrate these faces over to G3 from G2 or do I have to re-create them from scratch?

PS: A lot of these G2 packages that I purchased are not even available in G3 so I don't know if I can recreate them from scratch even if I wanted to. What are my options?
