Migrating back to XP from vista or win 7

Just drove my self a bit batty for the last several hours and thought I'd help out the other folks out there.

I've been getting tired of my operating system killing my ability to setup intricate scenes, so i decided to swap back to XP x64.
The main reason is that vista uses about 2.5-3 GB ram on my system (6GB total installed), and by the time i have 3-4 clothed and skinned figures loaded(v4, genesis etc), a setting, and start putting lights in, i'm hitting 2.5-3GB of memory(90% average).
So i switched back to XP x64, which takes about 600MB with my current setup.

Ran into a problem of migrating my overly organized database to it.
The default location for the xp database won't work.

The solution
Customize the Content Manager install.
Change the database section to (drive letter):\programdata\daz 3d\content management service\databases.
This is the default install for vista.

worked beautifully for the content management.
off to see if i can still load my scenes.
