Using ARModule with Genesis figures

Is there a way to Conform the ARModule set (http://www.daz3d.com/armodule) to Genesis (or G2M/F or G3M/F)? The Conform process will lose the heirachy structure in the ARModule so that the hands become unposable.

Maybe Valandar has looked in on this already? I've tried searching to see if anyone else has come up with a solution with no luck. Maybe my Search-Fu is off...

  • Have you tried just parenting it (and hiding the normal arm)?

What Richard said is what I had to do.

  • I would, but it's a double set of arms in one figure. I guess I could include two sets of ARModules in the scene. Set one up to be the right arm (by hiding the left arm) and set the other to be the left arm (by hiding the right). Maybe I'll try that. Thanks, Richard!

I was just wondering if it was possible to Conform the ARModule arms for the Left and Right Shoulders and Forearms but not the hands or fingers. Maybe to manually select what bone structures to apply. That sounds a bit technical as I read what I wrote, so it might be a bit beyond me...

  • The product page says it has a Left and Right version as well... Is it just hidden when it does that?

  • There are pose files that hide either the left arm or the right arm. That helps with setting the arms up for Genesis figures.
