baking iray shaders as texture

I have a question, a lot of D|S stuff uses iray mdl bricks and does not export as texture maps with an obj or FBX, Mostly I need this for iClone but also Octane render and often Carrara
I have been trying to get around this by rendering out texture maps from the shaders in D|S, using 3Delight I believe one can bake the shaders, is there a way to do this with iray?

For what its worth I cannot even bake the 3Deligh shaders
I did however find I can save Stonemasons road shader from US3 in shadermixer and then apply it to a plane which might prove an easier way to render a texture map for Octane.
You have to render the shader. D|S knows nothing of how an Iray surface will look. Your render to a plane is probably the best method.
