    woes  ups is supposed to deliver my new futon by 8:00pm

    is 7:52 they cuttin it close

    wanted to start my 4 day christmas weekend with new futon and new ikea lamps

    was so auspicious delivery date, not raining, not snowing.

    ...well, had a totally wonderful evening.  Didn't pay even a penny for any of my drinks tonight. Also got dinner on the house as well.

    The hassle for me is that I have to walk to the bus stop, go to the transit center, walk to the bank, get a new card issued and turn in the old one, then back to center, bus stop, and home.  Then the chore of changing the card number for auto-pays and checking to see that it's not stored anywhere.

    ...need to do some last minute shopping (as everything will be closed tomorrow) fortunately at a grocery market so hopefully no madness involved.
