How to layer Skin (like on MRL Eden)

Some figure like MRL Eden (http://www.daz3d.com/mrl-eden-32657) has layered image preset. I know that it can be applied to any skin but really don't have a clue how to do so. I've tried to find the answer but found none, especially from MRL Eden author. Thank you!

Probably LIE presets...Layered Image Editor...a 'grunge' or dirt layer added that way.

In case there is someone struggling with this problem, just drag the layered matt onto the figure and select Apply to... Easy but if you don't know, it's so painful.
