Image attachments are not working at the moment. The best you can do right now is link to an offsite URL.

One might start to wonder what the point of launching the message boards without the images would be on such a site... <8]</p>

Joequick should recognize the big orange guy. These are some characters I've been playing with.

I just read that the images can be 2000 X 2000 unless that's a typo seems like they are allowing larger images now... Glad to see this thread back up and running! :-)

"Who wants to render a superhero?" I have a feeling that in about a week or so, just about everyone will! ;-)

Here's my first superhero render...I collaborated with my 4-year-old son (I worked the controls, he told me what he wanted me to do). It's nothing special, but this at least gives me the excuse to post an image to the new forum. :-)

    He has no shoes.

I guess when you can fly, protective footwear is less of a priority? ;-) Actually, I didn't notice that until after I had clicked "render."

I did this a couple weeks ago when Randy was fishing for promo renders. Admittedly it lacks a lot of the polish that the chosen pieces exhibit.

Yeah, too big. Needs to be 800x800 from what I've seen. The forum doesn't resize yet.

Of course, I just get paranoid and do small images.

    Supersuitted

I created this picture mainly as a tester and played around a little with the suits. I found that I had to increase/decrease certain area sizes to prevent poke-through. So I modified it a little but used a preset material (there are A LOT of surfaces to play with)

So here's a recruitment poster for a sci-fi military force. It's cool to be able to change the depths and truly make it your own.

He's had it up to here 'cause there's a bubble in his back and he needs Trotwood to come walk on his back and pop it out for him.

Hmm. I can't add my own smiles inline any more. Where's my grumpy smiley?

Looks like the super suit shoes were fixed up enough to include or are those other high heeled shoes with the same shader applied to them? Looks great! :-)

Yes, he's basically M5 with tweaked shaping paramters around the face a lot. His skin was Elite Dave skin. :)

Yeah that is M5 Hero alright but more importantly is that amazing texture and how well you got the armor to convert

Yeah that is M5 Hero alright but more importantly is that amazing texture and how well you got the armor to convert

As for the armor, I converted it like:
    1) Load Genesis and M4
    2) Resize and change the pose in the parts of M4 as close as default Genesis.
    3) Load the armor, make each parts fit to M4 (so it almost looks like Genesis is wearing the armor)
    4) Export the parts (separatedly) as obj file.
    5) New scene and load Genesis
    6) Import the part of armor
    7) Asset > Transfer Utility > Source: Genesis, Scene Item: the part of Armor

It's a little better than using TU on the default armor, I think. the armor can't keep the morph in this way. But Coalition Rapier did not have many morphs. :)
    Hope my English is enough to understand. ^-^;
