Installing Both new and old versions of Daz Studio

Hi I'm new to Daz.. I have one problem.. Is it okay for me to install both versions of Daz studio in my pc which are 4.5 and 4.9 ?.. I have Daz 4.5 in my computer. And im installing my new version of Daz in the same location with the Daz 4.5 which is in my hard drive D: ... Also I didn't install daz 4.5 using the DAZIM before. Im using DAZIM now so im confused about how this installation goes.

Technically you can have 2 versions installed but some functionality might break. For example, the Hexagon bridge will stop working from Hexagon's side, so you will always have to export something from DAZ Studio (even empty scene) and then you will have the programs talk to one another.
