When a product says it is for  DAZ stud it means it would work in DAZ 4.9 too, or must be specified? I would like to be sure befoe buy

    It depends on the product. Most content will work, but for plugins or shaders it might mean that they don't work in DS4.

  • Please put the question in the body of the post as well as in the title - it's easier to keep track, of, especially in quotes.

    Unfortunately if an item is tagged as needing DS 4 it will always point to the latest version, even though in fact some items will not work in the latest builds - if in doubt (if you haven't seen someone using the product in 4.9 in a  render) it's probably wisest to ask, though Daz dose have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

    There are also many cases where the page says only "DAZ Studio" without specifying a version. Usually, this means it's a Poser item which installs into a Poser Runtime, but will load properly into D|S. Note that this does not mean you must have Poser installed, and the item may be a bit harder to find in your content collection. If you have any problems with this, just post a query to the forums here and someone will be able to help.
