What has happened to DAZ ?????

Can someone , anyone tell me what the hell is going on here at DAZ ? Absolutely nothing makes any sense here anymore ! ! ! !

    That covers far too much ground. Being a chronic complainer I have a nice list.
    Could be anything from the forum with the artistic flare of a drown paper bag, to the overly convoluted studio 4 and genesis.

    I think telling us exactly what doesn't make sense would be a step in the right direction. Then maybe someone could make sense of it and explain it to you.

    I'm not sure what his issue is, but looking at his amount of posts, just one.
    .
    I assume he hasn't been around in awhile and is surprised by the "improvements".
    .
    Seeing he is a long time user (joined in 2006), he might not come to the store oftn and got a big shock.
    .

    Obviously he's complaining that DAZ have *still* not released The Millennium Cow!

    Nothing else is of any real importance.

    I think this would be the condensed version of a thorough response to the original post (assuming it was meant literally and not rhetorically):

    1. In 2011 or so, DAZ 3D released DAZ Studio 4, which included a new Genesis figure. Genesis was a big improvement in many ways over earlier figures like Victoria 4, etc., but originally didn't transfer well to Poser, which made many people unhappy.

    2. The Genesis figure would be used as the base figure of the latest versions of Victoria, Michael, and other "iconic" characters.

    3. Starting in February 2012, DAZ 3D started giving away the "Pro" version of DAZ Studio 4, previously sold for $429 I think. This made many people happy and brought in new customers, but angered those who had previously purchased it. This was originally announced as a temporary offer, but it has been extended indefinitely.

    4. In May 2012, DAZ moved to a new website based on Magento. The transition was the opposite of smooth, with many problems in the store and in the forum. The situation has improved considerably since then, but a few issues persist and/or crop up now and again.

    Not sure about that. I mean the skirt is fairly transparent and I don't see any M5 pro packin in there.

    Besides midnight_stories, finding a dress that fits those biceps has to be tough, so you know the goat is trying to be convincing. In situations like this it's best to play along.

    It's a long standing joke between two Ozy's, no matter what beast I put out she dresses them up and makes them look less masculine, so to speak, the poor old Lycan copped a real beating. But I love Wendy away she makes people smile and that's not so bad !

    Yes I will admit that was my own undoing even tho the MS stands for Midnight_stories I'll never abbreviate again, who knows what Wendy would do !!!

    LOL!! :lol: There actually was an inflatable pony product that Daz gave away a few years ago. It was part of the "Victoria 5 Preview: Limited Edition", I think... if I recall...lol

    or something like that... anyone recall just what it was called?

    even Sabbatic goats need a partner of the opposite sex to have kids, hey I should do a gravid Nanny goat!!
    goats milk is good for cheese too.

    The Sabbatic Goat is a lot worse character than what I first thought, I thought he was just a pagan god both good and evil a wise being. Then I dug a bit deeper and it turns out he's one of the physical embodiment of the devil on earth, he's like the head poobah of the occult, I went Oh no I'm going to get burned at the stake for sure! man I'm always in trouble. So he doesn't have a female counter part, maybe Lilith. At least you took the heat off it !!!
