Autofit issues

I'm trying to take an M4 item and autofit it to Genesis 2 Male. I fit it to Genesis 2 Male and choose 'unsupportive' if Genesis 2 Male isn't there. And I've selected/not selected 'parent item.' Everytime, it will adjust the size correctly, but it hangs and locks itself a little above the body. Like the sleeves are half over the arms as an example. Is there anyway to fix this?

G2M doesn't have an autofit clone for M4 included by default, and "unsupported" conversion can only do so much....

M4 clone is included in this product: http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-for-genesis-2-male

Ah. That's my mistake then. I'm still new to 3D stuff in general, so 80% of this program is beyond my range unless there are tutorials. I could have sworn I had everything that was required for it when I got the free items. Thank you!

Or you can do a two step conversion...convert to Genesis 1 (which does include the autofit clone for M4) and then to Genesis 2...which has the Genesis autofit clone.

Again, I'm still mostly new to this stuff. So, are you suggesting that I autofit twice, once to gen1 then to gen 2? Or do I have to do it another way?

Yes, twice.  After fitting to Genesis 1, save it out, then load that saved version to Genesis 2.

If I'm not mistaken, you want to save it as a "Wearables Preset" when doing the fitting. This method works particularly well fitting V4 / M4 shoes to Genesis 3.
