Hi, I've got a question. I'm trying to make cartoons in Daz. I purchased the Visual Style Shaders and the CameraMagic Toony cam to try and accomplish this. I didn't really like the Toonycam because it was hard for me to control what it was that I was doing. I ended up returning the Toonycam and the VS shaders. I just purchased pwToon today and like that a lot better than the ToonyCam because I have a lot more control over what types of outlines you get. The only thing I dislike about it is that there aren't many color presets for pwToon like there was with the Visual Style Shaders (such as Peach Skin for example). I am considering repurchasing the Visual Style Shaders but only if I am able to use them in conjunction with pwToon. Is it possible to use these two shaders at the same time?

    I don't know, but probably yes. Though, if you want to create Cartoons, have you considered buying Moho by Smith Micro? That is possibly the best choice, and it also can use 3D resources.

    Go to your 'Render Settings' tab and click on options (the little arrow with 4 lines next to it) Check 'Show Hidden Properties'. Then open 'General' (the little arrow) and select 'Style' Choose 'Cartoon'

    I'm definitely interested in trying Moho. Will it require me to get Poser though? I'd like to get Poser, but I'm not sure I'm ready to shell out that much money just yet.

    The cartoon style affects only surfaces using the Daz Default Shader (essentially it switches the standard version for a toon version). It will have no effect on surfaces using other shaders, which most do these days.

    No, Moho works fine without Poser. I can recommend the Pro version, perhaps you start out with Pro 11 rather than 12, and upgrade later? They often have sales, and 11 is already pretty powerful.
