DS vs. Ps or PoserCF content?

If I only have DAZ and Carrara, when I purchase new content and it has a Ps or a PoserCF download package too, do I need to download those, or just the DS package? 

Is there any advantage or reason to download the Ps or PoserCF packages if you're not a Poser user, or are you just filling up your drive with content you can't see anyhow?

For Daz Studio alone you may not need the Poser files, depending on how old the item is. But some things that are in Daz format won't work in Carrara whereas the Poser versions usually will. So you might want to hang onto them for that purpose. If later you find they're not needed you can always toss them out.
